Any topics in my opinion needs to have some kind of human touch to become popular, and appeal to the people. Fashion has a lot of human interest because it shows how a person express themselves, and how they like to dress, and what kind of impression they want to give to their society.
I really love fashion, and using my passion to create something will show through my work, and appeal more to people.

ReplyDeleteGreat job with this weeks’ post. I feel you really ‘hit the nail on the head’ when you say people are looking for a human touch. Whether it be in your field of fashion, or in my case pets, there always needs to be a face and a personality to a business. In my case, my father is the business owner, and was known growing up as Kelso Stockwood – of course, that’s not his real name, but to put a face to our business Kelso has a profile and plays the role of business owner on facebook. He sends birthday messages to his many friends, posts status updates about ‘everyday life things’ (like, his granddaughter cutting her first tooth, or whether he’s at the American Legion calling Bingo balls), while cleverly posting adds and mentions of his business.
I think you are certainly on the right track when you incorporate your personal passion into your business, and if it is a field everyone loves (or at very least, needs) like fashion, you can’t go wrong when expressing yourself in a ‘human’ way. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing how far you go.
